State & Special Education Preschool Programs

In addition to the Elementary Computer Science Immersion program, Heritage is home to two pre-school programs. 

State Preschool

Our state preschool program is a half-day, 3-hour program with sessions in the morning and afternoon. Families qualify for the state preschool program based on family size and family income.  Qualified children fall between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Special Education Preschool

Our special education preschool program provides services for students with identified special needs between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Qualified students are assigned to Heritage based on location and services described in an existing IEP. The main office for the special education preschool program is at the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) at Carver.

Additional GGUSD Preschool Programs

Garden Grove Unified School District also offers a fee-based program for preschool-aged children. Skylark Preschool is an affordable high-quality preschool program serving our early learners in GGUSD. The full-day program provides the same exceptional educational curriculum offered in our half-day state preschool program with opportunities for before and after school care. This is a fee-based program offered at the Skylark Preschool campus. Please contact the Skylark office for further questions.
